The witch Griselda castes a spell to make the boys travel to her (she wants them for her supper) but the slime of maggot is past its sell-by date and the boys (and their parents) only lose their hair. The cat, Snuggle, takes the boys to the Land of Lost Hair where the hair covered trees are being given their monthly haircut by clouds, giant combs, scissors and hair driers. The boys get back their hair, but Griselda has followed them. She magics the combs, scissors and hairdryers to get the boys, but Snuggle (with the help of Cloud 9) defeats her evil plans.
